I’m confused about the times. It is 2019. That I know. Interracial marriage is legal, women can vote, women are leading mass movements, technology is advancing, social media found a way to stay. They somehow managed to charge us for creating websites, to play and download music, except reading. Reading is the one thing that’s free.
I guess I would say the times are a mix of young and old. There are right ways and ways that are considered wrong. Everyone is evaluating what they were taught and learned. Everyone is relearning themselves, to see what they actually believe.
Trans people are a thing, it is now acceptable to admit that we don’t know who we are.
We are exploring the mind of people as they are, here today. The ones of the times, the ones living in this generation. We are changing laws, but not the ones that really matter. If more blacks owned guns, I think laws would change sooner.
I also think its acceptable to find new meaning in our own values. I think the government is doing what it was created by the people to do. And that, my friend is good.
I’m now rethinking my former beliefs about change. Drastic change shouldn’t come easy, nor should it be quick. It should be processed, evaluated and voted on.
