I’m so confused why no one has invented a convenience for young children at the airport. My family and I just came back from my husband’s hometown…Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. Although beautiful the travel there was not. I was shocked to see that older people that could in fact walk had services that drove you to the gate, services that allowed someone to push them in a chair….WHY DOESNT ANY AIRPORT HAVE THIS FOR CHILDREN?!! At LAX there was a playground near baggae claim, but I have to be honest there should be way more playgrounds and fun things to do for children, preferably next to a bar for the parents! (lol). I’m ranting now, but I honestly can’t believe that airlines don’t accomodate kids as much as I’d like to see. There should be an entire airline for children /families. Where everything on the plane is interactive, or fun to look at, kind of like a childrens doctors office. There should also be a trolley or bus on standby that transports families with kids in one big trolley that attracts to kids! The hardest age to fly with kids…I think is anywhere from 1-4 years old. Heres to the future! May there be more kid friendly airports and airlines!
