There’s 6 types of love…according to myself. Now, there can be more in between the major 6. But I believe it all boils down to the 6. If you have only ever had 1 love. Consider yourself lucky.
- 1st Crush
- Your first crush is the person you start to notice. Typically at a young age. Maybe in class or school with you. You get nervous around this person. You like the way they look and pretty much everything else about them.
- 1st Love
- This love is the kind of love that’s pure. It’s the first real butterflies you feel in your stomach…Your first kiss. Typically also at a young age, but old enough to start thinking about the future. This love is juvenile, pure, sweet and the kind of love you wish for again when you get older.
- Your “First”
- Your “first” is the person that you lose your virginity with. I put it in quotes because typically you share something special with this love. But they’re not your 1st love. You relate on a different level. You share similar world views or you’re just learning about the world around you.
- Bad Love
- This love is the one that makes you question everything. The one you refuse to listen to your gut to, because you believe love is good and strong and that it is suppose to last… but this kind of love usually is ugly and ends up hurting us. Eventually, most people are able to move past this love but there are a lot of consequences that come from this love.
- Accidental Love
- This is the love that once you get out of your bad love phase you begin to realize more about yourself. You try new things, you’re in a exploratory phase. This love is usually a person that starts out as a friend and turns into something more.
- Unpredictable Love
- This is usually the love that comes into your life a little later. It catches you off guard. You may or may not have been looking for it but it totally encompasses you. It’s the kind of love built to last. It makes you see the world differently. It might change your opinions and viewpoints on things. It feels like home and something totally spontaneous at the same time. It makes you patient. It makes you want to be more kind. It becomes your family forever.
